Original Raezer’s Edge “One-6″ Loudspeaker Cabinet Offered For Immediate Sale By J Hale Music. Raezer’s Edge cabinets have been the choice of serious musicians for over 10 years. Originally built in Pennsylvania and New Jersey by the late founder Rich Raezer, these small and efficient bass reflex cabinets are perfect for musicians seeking clear, full and rich tone. For sale is the smallest cabinet built by Raezer’s Edge, the “One-6″. Don’t let its small compact size fool you, this is a professional grade cabinet and it delivers an amazing full tone when connected to a professional amplifier head such as an Acoustic Image Clarus, Evans, Walter Woods, or other similar amplifier. This particular cabinet has been in the possession of J Hale Music since aquisition of the Raezer’s Edge Company in 2005. It was partially finished, missing just the back, oak trim port board and speaker. The cabinet has been fitted with a new 100 Watt, 8 ohm, Eminence Alpha-Lite 6″speaker. Cabinet bears serial number 1116-04 indicating it was built in the year 2004. Either Speak-On or 1/4″ cables may be used to connect a suitable amplifier. This cabinet really “kicks” and is all you need for a small gig or extension cabinet and/or a stage monitor. The cabinet is new, it has never been sold, and carries the full 5 year Raezer’s Edge warranty. Cabinet measures 13″ x 10″ x 9″ and weighs just 14 pounds. There is no vinyl cover available. 1940′s small shell shure with good working 99a47 element I have 3 great shure original crystal bullet mics, this one is all original and more for a collector than basement player like me. this is the ONLY one of these 1939 Shure 5G microphones I have ever seen. it looks just like the rare shure 52 dynamic bullet i also have. This shure 5g is in incredible condition for its age. Currently it does not work, – therefore this is sold as a non-working mic – AS-IS SALE i got it this way quite a while back and have never gotten around to sending it so someone to repair/diagnose. I have not seen this book in a while, and it is by far the easiest book ever written for tube audio people to learn the math skills they will need as repair people, techs, designers….even tube audio fans. There is so much here that is useful, I’ll only give you a little highlight from the 569 pages in this hardback book from 1954. Plus, this hardback book is in Excellent shape, with dust jacket and mylar, a former library book that was well cared for. Last checked out in 1966! You will learn, among many other things: Tube Characteristics Amplification Factor Plate Resistance Bias….cathode Bias…so much about Bias…worth the price all alone just for the bias inf! Power supply filters Capacitance A whole chapter on Loudspeakers and Output Transformers…Also worth the price alone! So much here, it is like a basic tube electronics book, but is geared to looking at math. It was made for radio and television folks in the 50′s, which means us tube audio guys in 2011/2012! This one is brilliant and easy to follow for the non-math lovers out there who love tube amps! And in nice shape. A classic for sure! This amp has been modified. The previous owner removed the master volume knob. Why? I don’t know. It does work but needs some TLC. The original speakers were damaged and replaced with 12″ speakers from a mid 80′s Yamaha 4 x 12 cabinet but were never connected. One has a hole in the cone paper but still works and could be repaired with some glue. The reverb unit (included) has been removed but is made that way and can be easily put back in. The amp cabinet has been cracked (see pictures). The damage can be seen from the bulge in the Tolex covering but doesn’t appear on the inside frame. Structurally the cabinet is solid. Other than the info I’ve given, I know very little else about this amp. Feel free to ask questions but please do so BEFOR bidding. I’m not sure how to ship this thing yet so I’m going to be safe and say that the buyer must arrange shipping, pick it up, or possibly end up paying a lot to send it. I’ll try to help but due to it’s size and weight, I’m hoping that it can be picked up (by the buyer, an agent of the buyer, or a shipper).
